Nestled within a 600 acre estate with two private beaches, Anse Chastanet is a destination in and of itself, with many facilities and activities offered right at the resort. The beaches are on some of the island's best coral reefs for snorkeling and scuba diving, and part of the 600 acre estate is a lush tropical forest with 18th century remains of an old plantation and 12 miles of private estate trails to explore by foot or bike. Room Categories and Descriptions - Anse Chastanet Resort Room amenities include fridge, electric tea/coffee maker, wall mounted hairdryers and in-room safes for added convenience. The furniture in all rooms has been designed and handmade in the region with the exclusive use of the island woods, such as teak, mahogany, green heart, purple heart, red cedar, and wild breadfruit. All deluxe and premium rooms also have iron/ironing board. Rooms are built in harmony with nature, allowing for a natural flow of air which make air conditioning unnecessary. Rooms DO NOT have air conditioning, radios, telephones or televisions. Children Policy: No children under 6 years of age can be accommodated. Children rates apply for children 6-12 years. Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Standard - Rooms are slightly smaller than the superior rooms and have garden or partial sea views with 2 twin or 1 queen size bed. Superior - Rooms are octagonal or rectangular in shape and feature 2 twin or 1 king size bed. Superior rooms have Piton and/or ocean view. Beachside Deluxe - All rooms hay either clay tile or tropical hardwood floors, either glass or wooden jalousie louver windows, ceiling fans and balconies, en-suite bathrooms with shower and WC. Hillside Deluxe - Rooms are extremely spacious and individually designed in a very airy style, with dramatic open roof dormers, clay floor tiles or tropical hardwood floor, king size bed, wooden jalousie louvers, ceiling fans, balconies a very large en-suite bathrooms with 2 sinks, shower and WC. Piton and/or ocean view. Premium - Anse Chastanet's rooms (numbering only 7) which have a king size bed and offer picture postcard perfect views of the Piton Mountains and the surrounding sea by virtue of their very elevated and strategic location. Specific bedding and/or special requests are fulfilled based on availability and cannot always be guaranteed. Dining - Anse Chastanet Resort The Anse Chastanet Resort offers the following restaurants: Piti Piton and Treehouse Restaurant - Caribbean and Tropical World cuisine, located hillside. The dinner menu changes daily and consists of a 4-course meal served in a romantic candlelit ambiance, surrounded by beautiful original artwork. Dinner is served daily with the exception of Tuesdays. Trou Au Diable Restaurant - Serves lunch daily. Lunch menu offers a wide and varied choice of appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers and creole specialties from an à la carte menu, in addition to a large buffet spread with hot and cold dishes.
