Room amenities include sitting area, mini-bar (stocked on request), digital in-room safe, direct dial telephones, radio/CD players, individually controlled air conditioning and ceiling fan, bathrobes and slippers, iron & ironing board, hairdryer, and umbrella. Villas, Suites and Jr. Suites are equipped with bathtubs. There are no televisions in the individual guestrooms. There is an additional charge for an extra bed in all rooms and suites. One crib is provided upon request at no extra charge for all room and suite categories except for the Oceanview Room. Children Policy: Children of all ages are welcome year round at Little Dix Bay. The Children's Grove offers supervised activities for children and teenagers from 3 to 16 years old, for a nominal fee. Oceanview Room - Situated just off the beach, these rooms offer romantic views. Maximum Occupancy: 2 adults. Premium Oceanview Room - Located on or near the beach, these rooms offer ocean views and a private patio deck. Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Ocean Cottages - Positioned on stilts and nestled in a lush garden setting with a shared footpath to the beach, these unique, hexagonal-shaped rooms are grouped in pairs and have an expansive downstairs garden patio with hammock and upper sun deck. Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Beachfront Cottages - The original hexagonal-shaped rooms are grouped in pairs for optimal privacy and are located on the ground level with stunning views of the sea and situated steps off the beach. Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. Rosewood Junior Suites - The newest accommodations, enjoy breathtaking oceans views and have a large outdoor living area accessed via French doors from the oversized bedroom. The spacious bathrooms include his and hers vanities, separate shower and large soaking tub, as well as an outdoor garden shower. Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 1 child. One Bedroom Suites - Perfectly located on the beach, suites include a separate bedroom and living room, over-sized soaking tub and separate shower, CD player and stereo, and private double patio. Maximum Occupancy: 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children. Villas - Located in the most private areas of the resort with sweeping ocean views, these remarkable accommodations feature two or three large bedrooms in addition to oversized living and dining room areas, spacious bathrooms with outdoor showers, private pools and dining pavilion/barbeque area. Maximum Occupancy: 4 Adults or 2 Adults and 2 Children (2 Bedroom), 6 Adults or 6 Adults and 3 Children (3 Bedroom). Little Dix Bay offers the following restaurants: The Pavilion - Four interconnected romantic Polynesian Style pyramids tilted so their mouths open to the sun and the sea is the center of life at Little Dix Bay. This is also the site for popular daily breakfast and lunch buffets and candlelight dinners. The cuisine is decidedly American, keeping pace with the latest cooking trends with special emphasis on Caribbean influences. For cocktails, guests sit on the Pavilion's Terrace, a wide sun and moonlight drenched patio where a lively Caribbean band or romantic piano plays nightly. The Pavilion Dining Room is open 7 days a week for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Breakfast 8am-10:15am, Lunch 12:30-2:30pm and Dinner 7-9pm. Live entertainment is featured nightly. The Sugar Mill & Bar - Specializing in light Italian cuisine with accent on seafood, the Sugar Mill is relaxed dining at its best. During the day, splashes of colorful bougainvillea cover the rooftops, and guests dine in the sun. By night, guests dine under the stars by the sea. It has the reputation of being the most intimate of the 3 dining facilities at night. The Sugar Mill is open for dinner Tuesday-Saturday 7-9pm. Children under the age of five are not permitted. Please make reservations with the Front Desk. The Beach Grill - Specializing in seafood by night, as well as a continental breakfast and casual American favorites for lunch, the Beach Grill is quite lovely. Open for lunch every day (except Thursday) 12pm-3pm. During the day, the beach walkers may serve select menu items at your bohio. The Beach Bar opens at 10am for beverage service. Limited room service available Dress Code: After sunset, gentlemen are asked wear trousers, a shirt with collar and closed-in footwear. Ladies may wear suitable evening attire. Swim wear, shorts, jeans and tennis shoes are not permitted in the restaurants after sunset. During the day guests should wear a shirt, wrap or cover-up over bathing suits in select public areas. The hotel is very child friendly and accepts children on a year round basis. However, the Deluxe Cottages are not recommended for small children, as they are located on stilts. Also families with small children may find the staircases and balconies of the Deluxe Cottage slightly challenging. A per person transfer fee includes a welcome at Beef Island Airport in Tortola and escort by taxi to the resort's private ferry for the 20-minute journey to Little Dix Bay. Welcome cocktails will be served on board. The transfer fee also includes return transfer to Beef Island Airport in Tortola upon departure. Transfer fees are charged round-trip for children for ages 5-12 and complimentary for children four years of age and under. Transfers to and from Virgin Gorda Airport is complimentary.
