Room Categories and Descriptions - The Waldorf-Astoria Room amenities include mini-bar, high speed Internet access (extra fee), telephone with voicemail, cable TV, complimentary newspaper, work desk, marble bath or shower, hairdryer, alarm clock with radio, 24-hour housekeeping, and iron/ironing board. Deluxe - Rooms are spacious and feature upscale amenities and richly appointed furnishings. 200-225 square feet in size with 1 King or 1 Queen bed. Maximum occupancy: 2 guests. Mini Suite - 370 square feet in size and features a kitchenette. Oversized, luxurious accommodation with a sitting enclave or separate parlor (some with French doors), and one King bed (some with 2 bathrooms). Maximum occupancy: 2 guests. At the polished mahogany bar enjoy specialty beers and generous cocktails. Located on the corner of 49th Street and Lexington. Dress Attire: Elegant Casual (No jeans, shorts, or sneakers please). Dinner served daily from 5-11:30pm. Peacock Alley - Modern and elegant, the stunning new Peacock Alley restaurant embraces the future and yet pays homage to the history of the Waldorf. Located in the heart of the bustling main lobby Peacock Alley's setting is opportune and ideal for getting a taste of a culinary experience or to host a special event in the private dining room. Inagiku Restaurant - Stylish and exotic, Inagiku presents New-Style Japanese cuisine in a theatrical setting. The first fine dining Japanese restaurant in midtown Manhattan, this nearly 30-year-old institution attracts a devoted clientele of international Epicureans seeking contemporary twists on time-honored preparations. Ask about the exquisite tatami rooms for very private dining. Located at 111 E. 49th Street. Lunch served Monday - Friday, 12:00pm - 2:00pm. Dinner served seven days, 5:30pm - 10:00pm.
