The all-inclusive properties of Almond Resorts are located in Barbados and St. Lucia. Most are family-friendly and welcome kids; one is for adults only. All meals, snacks, alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages, taxes and gratuities are included in the rate that is paid upfront. Guests also have access to an array of non-motorized land and water sports, such as catamaran sailing, kayaking, snorkeling, on-site reef fishing, tennis and volleyball. There is nightly entertainment as well as a weekly beach party.
The family-friendly resorts have nurseries for toddlers up to 2 years old and supervised activities for children ages 3 to 12. Young guests can participate in beach and pool games, movie time, jewelry-making, video and board games, and lessons in local dance, culture and music. Adults in need of pampering can steal away to one of the luxurious, Caribbean-inspired spas.
Almond Resorts adheres to a “For You, About You” credo. Concierges are on hand to facilitate special requests and take care of certain details for guests -- they can arrange for spa treatments, car rentals, private babysitting and sightseeing excursions, for example.
