True to their name, Couples resorts are all-inclusive vacation resorts for couples 18 and older. Located in Negril and Ocho Rios on the island of Jamaica, they are specifically designed with duos in mind. Water sports, land sports, daily activities and fun classes fill each day.
All food, beverages, snacks, accommodations, water sports, land activities, daily functions, airport transfers and gratuities are included in the upfront price at Couples. Also available are off-site excursions such as shopping trips, sunset catamaran cruises and tours of local attractions. Scuba diving can be arranged for a fee. Some Couples properties feature a private "au naturel" sunbathing area.
For couples looking to tie the knot in Jamaica, each Couples property offers complimentary weddings with a ceremony, cake, sparkling wine, flowers, commemorative T-shirts, music and half-hour massages for the bride and groom. Special arrangements must be made in advance. Wedding guests not staying at the resort can purchase passes that allow them to visit the property for up to eight hours a day. Off-site guests must be 18 or older and can take advantage of all hotel amenities with the pass.
